Fox edits the response to John Bolton’s answer, giving it applause instead of the boos that it received. The question is a good one, too; wouldn’t we act the exact same way if our country was invaded and soldiers kidnapped people for torture without any form of due process?
Words cannot describe how much I absolutely loathe John Bolton
And so it seems that the real question here is… why would the people working for the media outlets do such a thing?
Perhaps it can be summarized in how Facebook ads work.
“Like Bank of America!
100 of your friends like bank of America.”
The implication seems to be, from my own understanding, is that if others around us accept a notion or idea with favor, the majority is more likely to accept it as well. If the majority hates it, others will follow.
Why is this important?
Because to me, it’s a good way to re-examine who you are. What do you base your beliefs off of? Why do you believe a truth is truth? If you just abandoned your religion, would your biggest fear be god or the possibility that your friends, family members and acquaintances would not accept this “new” you?
FUCK YEAH TO THIS GUY.
