Reason > Belief
this was never about reason or belief…except in the sense that the reason why this magical little story was created was to instill the tribe w/ a belief in a set of made-up moral rules and laws in order to bend the collective mind and will to suite the desires of the few that wrote the damn thing…
sure it looks simple and stupid now…but that was the beauty of it, a lie so big and so simple that only a few dared believe otherwise…i find it amazing that this ridiculousness has been able to not only survive but to in fact thrive for over the last 2000 years… i spose having the might of the roman army (and other armies latter) back you up as you peddle this shit around the globe would help…
